The Medical Resort at Fiesta Park is a unique 65,000 square foot medical facility at 8820 Horizon Blvd. NE. The fully renovated 1950’s vintage facility now boasts a coffee bar, multiple fitness / therapy areas, eat-in bistro restaurant and a movie theatre, all provided within an exceptional skilled nursing environment with finely appointed private rooms. Developer C&S was faced with retrofitting a building, already remodeled many times as it changed hands and purposes over the decades, to meet the heavily regulated Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) licensure requirements. As a result, the facility is completely custom, with no 2 patient rooms the same dimensions. The multi-million dollar redevelopment project created 110 new full-time jobs. Teaming with C&S’s expertise in senior living development, the SNF operator created a short-term “rehab to home” facility with resort-like amenities for recovery and therapy in an up-beat and upmarket setting.
